The Pelicier Hawkfish (Plectranthias pelicieri), also known as Pelicier’s Perchlet or the Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish, is a rare and highly sought-after, small-sized marine fish native to the Indian Ocean. While often classified with Anthias in the subfamily Anthiinae, it behaviorally resembles a traditional hawkfish and is a prized, reef-safe addition to specialized aquariums.
